Electric Eels finish 6th in National League Championship

East Riding Electric Eels blues powerchair football team finished in 6th position this weekend in just their second year in National League Championship. The blues secured their mid table place by beating Nottingham Forest 1 - 0 with Kizzy Wade scoring in the first half. In their first year they finished the season in 10th with 7 points. This year they secured 6th position with 27 points.

Kai Gill, captain of the national league side finished the season with 8 goals alongside Kizzy Wade. Pablo Rees scored 2 goals in his debut season and Luke Brennan scoring one goal. Amy Sherman continued here goal keeping saves by keeping Eels some weekends without conceding.

You can see East Riding Electric Eels in action on Sunday 22nd May at Haltemprice as they face opposition from the North East. Electric Eels will be kicking off at 10.30am the support has been remarkable for the past two years when we have played at home.
