The WFA announced this morning the opening fixtures for the first weekend of the 2016/17 National League Championship season.
With the new season only the matter of 2 months away East Riding Electric Eels can continue to train in pre season with their fixtures in mind.
The team travel to Nottingham on 8th and 9th October to restart their third season in the National League.
Electric Eels will face tough opposition against two former premier league teams (Muscle Warriors and Northern Thunder Blues) in the first weekend. Here are the five fixtures that Electric Eels will face in the opening weekend:
Saturday, 8th October
East Riding Electric Eels PFC v Cheltenham SW All Stars - 9:15 am kick off
Muscle Warriors PFC v East Riding Electric Eels PFC - 13:00 pm kick off
East Riding Electric Eels PFC v Portsmouth PFC - 16:45 pm kick off
Sunday, 9th October
East Riding Electric Eels PFC v St George Knights 10:30 am kick off
Northern Thunder Blues v East Riding Electric Eels PFC - 13:00 pm kick off
