Kai Gill Academy Coach "The team are eager to lift the shield again"

Electric Eels Academy kick start their 2017/18 Switalskis Yorkshire League campaign this weekend at Haltemprice Leisure Centre. On Sunday 2nd October the academy team will host development teams from clubs around the Yorkshire region including Middlesbrough.

Here are the Electric Eels Academy fixtures for Sunday: 11.15am v York 11.55am v Leeds Centurions 13.15am v PHAB

After being put through their paces, coach of the academy team Kai Gill is looking forward to seeing the team play. He said: " It's been a very tough pre season for our academy team, we've really put the players through their paces. We were unlucky to not clinch the title last season and that is something we have spoken about and how the team are eager to lift the shield again. The players have been looking forward to getting started for a few weeks now and I've been very impressed with how much they have worked hard for each other in training. The team have been training very hard with one of our coaches improving their positional play and passing. It's great to see the vast improvement they have made."

Please come and see the future of powerchair football play on Sunday at Haltemprice Leisure Centre, Springfield Way, Anlaby.
