Electric Eels travel to Middlesbrough


Hull & East Yorkshire Powerchair Football Club competition teams will be travelling up North to Thornaby, Middlesbrough on Sunday November. The two teams Electric Eels and Electric Eels Academy face tough fixtures in the second round of the North East Regional League.

Electric Eels who compete in the premiership of the North East Regional League face hosts Middlesbrough and Leeds Chariots.

Electric Eels v Middlesbrough - 12pm

Electric Eels v Leeds Chariots - 2pm

Lee Brennan, coach of Electric Eels said: "e've another tough two fixtures on Sunday. Boro are a NL Premiership team and Leeds are a NL Premiership team-in-waiting.We know we'll have to be defensively very well organised and any chances we have at the other end we need to take.I've every confidence in this group of players and I know they'll give 100% commitment in both games"

Electric Eels academy who compete in the championship face three tough fixtures against Darlington, Middlesbrough Blues, and Leeds Centurions.

Darlington v Eels Academy - 11am

Middlesbrough Blues v Electric Eels Academy - 1pm

Electric Eels Academy v Leeds Centurions - 3pm

Kai Gill, coach of Electric Eels academy said: "The players are really looking forward to these three matches and they have been very impressive in training. We know the opponents will be wanting to stop our unbeaten run, but we prepared to continue our hard work. We have to be focussed and keep our discipline to get the results we want.
