Electric Eels travel to Leeds ♿️⚽️

Hull & East Yorkshire Powerchair Football Club competitive teams are travelling to Leeds this coming weekend. Electric Eels and Electric Eels Academy continue their North East Regional League 2017/18 campaign.

Electric Eels who compete in the Premiership face Leeds Chariots and Middlesborough Reserves. Head Coach Lee Brennan states both himself and the players are raring to go following a mini pre season and tough matches.

Lee said: " We're all looking forward to resuming the North East Regional league. It's been around 10 weeks since our last competitive league games (we had a couple of Cup games during the winter break) and me and the players are raring to go again.

" As usual we have 2 very tough games but we're ready for the challenge and hopefully come away with some points on the board. "

Electric Eels Academy who compete in the Championship face Middlesborough Jets, Leeds Centurions and Leeds Dynamos. Academy coach Kai Gill states his players are raring to go and have shown great attitude in training.

Kai said: " The players can't wait to travel to Leeds and play some great football. The last time the team played a league match was in November and they had the chance to play against Leeds the other week for some friendlies, which is what they needed.

"We've been really pushing the players in training and their attitude towards it has been incredible. "
