The centre will not only become the clubs new training ground but also, the official home ground for our host rounds in the North East Regional League and Yorkshire League.
The new Sports Centre will become the only 3 court venue in the region as well as a fully-accessible changes places room.
Head Coach Lee Brennan said: "We're all excited about our move to the new Hull University Sports Centre. It'll be our new home not just for training but when we host the North East Regional League and the Yorkshire League. It's the only 3 court venue in Hull and East Yorkshire. As well as the new sporting facilities we're really pleased that the venue has a fully-accessible Changes Places room"
Marketing & Communications Officer, Kai Gill said: "This is exciting news for the club which, will enable us to continue to achieve our aim of giving disabled wheelchair users the chance to play a sport they love at a competitive level. We held talks with Steve Curtis last year soon after the University announced the plans and since then every meeting has been positive. The fact that Steve listened to our thoughts of an fully-accessible changes places room and proceeded for it to be included in the plans highlights, the significant work University of Hull has in the community. "
