With pre-season well underway for Electric Eels first team, The WFA have announced fixtures for round 1 of the MDUK Championship. The 2018/19 seasons begins on Saturday 13th October & Sunday 14th October.
So who will Electric Eels first team face on the round 1? On Saturday 13th October Electric Eels kick-off their campaign at 9:15 AM against Middlesbrough Reserves. Later in the day at 1 PM, Eels will then face former Premiership side Manchester United PFC. On Sunday 14th October, the side will face Telford PFC at 11:45 AM and then return to court at 3:30 PM to face Nottingham Forest PFC.
Captain Kai Gill gives an update on pre-season and teams thoughts on the fixtures announced, he said: " We are well into our pre-season which, has been great so far and very challenging. As a team, we have been challenging each other to improve as a team, we have a new addition to the side which is great. We've set ourselves targets for the season and have seen the fixtures announced for round 1. We've got some tough sides to face and have to be on our game. But, we know on our day we can get the points on the table.
" We will continue pre season training and our hard work to ensure it pays off on the pitch."
