Hull & East Yorkshire Powerchair Football Club are proud to be launching More Than A Sport campaign.
More Than A Sport campaign is designed for our players to tell their stories of how and why powerchair football is more than a sport, it's a life changer.
Throughout this campaign, once a week a players story will be shared on our website and across our social media platforms. Additionally, parents and carers will be sharing how powerchair football has changed their families lifes as well.
Kai Gill, marketing officer said: " We are pleased to be launching More Than A Sport campaign in the next couple of weeks. After, months of planning with the clubs committee it's great to see this campaign come in to fruitition. It has been designed to share with our club followers and the wider audeince in Hull & East Yorkshire to explain why powerchair football is more than a sport. Through this campaign we hope to reach with disabled people who would be interested in trying the sport.
" This campaign idea originated from a successful social media post about the sport being life changing. Through our research, alone just in Hull there is over 15, 000 disabled people who use a wheelchair both full-time and part-time, in the East Yorkshire we believe the figure is double if not triple. With over 20 players registered to the club, just one or two of those players sharing their story may connect with someone who would be wanting to give powerchair football a try. "
More Than A Sport campaign starts on Monday 21st April and will be continuing throughout the summer. Give our Facebook Page, Twitter and Instagram a follow.
