Speaking to the club website, head coach Lee Brennan said: " We head back to Nottingham this weekend for our final 5 games of the season. We've played well in most gamesthis season and probably should have more points on the board than we do hence the reason why we still need to get 3 or 4 pts to secure our NL spot for next season. Confidence is a huge factor in sport. We have some talented and gifted players in our squad and sometimes I think the players forget how good they are. We are National League! National League, man! Dilly-ding, Dilly-dong! Let's go there full of confidence and show what we can do. "

Throughout, the 2018 - 2019 MDUK Championship season Electric Eels first team have currently played 17 matches; winning 4, drawn 5 and lost 8. The first team have picked up some impressing points in the past two rounds and are determined to continue their hard work. Captain Kai Gill said: " We've been training really hard for the final round of nationals as we are determined to continue this as we go into the matches. The previous round we picked up some valuable points after a couple of important wins, which has given the team a boost and the energy has been positive in training. We have five games this weekend which, is always going to be tough especially against the opposition we have to face. But, if we stick to our style of football, play as a team and continue to push each other like we have done then I'm sure we will finish the season on a high. "
