Electric Eels academy team have gained six valuable points this weekend following two wins in the Yorkshire League Development Round 2.
Seven players travelled to Leeds; Ashley, Bobby, Callum, Gareth, George, Jamie and Shaun.
The team first faced Leeds Centurions in what was a great match. Despite going a goal behind the team worked hard for each other and managed to score 2 goals one of which was a last gasp goal.
After a break, the team regrouped and faced York's B team, following a series of passing movements and set plays, Eels came away with a 3-0 win.
Speaking to the club website, Academy Coach Kai said: " This was two great performances from the team and it showed we have improved a lot from round 1. The players got behind each other and worked hard for one another which, was pleasing to see. Jamie and Callum both made their away match debuts, both played really well. Overall, we are really pleased to be bringing home six points, but we have highlighted areas we want to improve on. "
