On Saturday 15th February, Hull & East Yorkshire PFC faced Leeds Dynamos at 11:50am in what was a thrilling match. Electric Eels started the game strongly scoring through Joel, from a calm and composed set-piece. The second half saw Leeds Dynamos find their attacking groove scoring two goals. Despite this, Electric Eels tried to find space to execute any attacking opportunity but, Leeds where tough for the team to break down.

The final game on Saturday for our first team was against Manchester United PFC. A third time both sides have faced each other this season. This was a close encounter. Manchester United PFC attacked Electric Eels in the first half but, defensive duo Aston and Kai kept them out from scoring. The final ten minutes did see Eels come into their own by passing the ball and trying to score a goal before the half time whistle blew. Half-time both sides where goalless. The second half saw our first team dominate in attack and took their chance when Electric Eels forced a 2-on-1 on the edge of the box. Joel took the in-direct free kick passing it to Kai who crossed a firing ball across the box for Harry to finish - scoring his first ever national league goal. The final ten minutes Eels held their own doing a lot of defensive work but, remained composed and able to secure a 1-0 win against Manchester United PFC.

Sunday, saw Hull & East Yorkshire PFC face Villa Rockets Lions and Teesside Steel in two tough matches. In summary, Electric Eels tried their best but, suffered a 4-0 and 3-0 defeats against two quality sides.

First team captain Kai Gill said: " We're all pleased with how we performed as a team playing in a new format for the first time. We all enjoyed playing our football at weekend, and was really pleased to be coming home with 3 points. It was great to see what we've been practising in training come to fruition with Joel scoring as well as Harry socring his first national league goal. But, we're all determined to use this time between now and April to continue to improve."

Hull & East Yorkshire PFC before the weekend were in 11th position in the Optegra Championship table. But, after game week 3 they are now in 10th position. The team will next be in Nottingham on 5th and 6th April.
