Hull & East Yorkshire PFC Academy v Middlesbrough Discovery

Hull & East Yorkshire PFC academy team recently played against Middlesbrough Discovery in a series of six matches as part of their development in the Yorkshire Powerchair Football League Federation.



The first series of three matches took place on Sunday 7th May at the Allam Sports Centre, Hull University. This was a great opportunity for academy team coaches Mandy & Steph to see how the players have developed in matches following a number of training sessions. Results:

On Sunday 14th May, the academy team travelled to Middlesbrough to play against Middlesbrough Discovery. The Electric Eels went with confidence and determined to continue their progress following their last three matches against Middlesbrough Discovery. Results:

Academy team coach, Mandy states how proud she is of the team following their hard work work in training to now playing in matches. She said: "I am so proud of the academy team they have trained so hard and have waited so long to play against other teams.They were all so excited & they all all played so well. The team is really working well together & helping each other which is fantastic to see. Can’t wait for the next match away at Leeds."


The academy team will be travelling away to Leeds on Sunday 2nd July.
