Lee Brennan “ The players have put 100% into training and preparation”

Hull & East Yorkshire Powerchair Football Club invites all supporters and sponsors to attend tomorrow’s cup match at The Allam Sports Centre, Univeristy of Hull on Inglemire Lane. The match will kick off at 12:15pm.

Electric Eels first team face Sale United PFC in the second round of the Goals Beyond Grass WFA Cup.

Head coach Lee Brennan states his team will do their very best to pull off another cup upset.

"It's a while since we had a competitive game so we're all looking forward to welcoming Pete Taylor and his Sale team on Saturday. As we found out from the first round v Man Utd the Goals Beyond Grass WFA Cup can throw up some surprising results !  No one outside our club thought we had a chance. There's no pressure on us again.  Sale are the Premiership team.  The players have put 100% into training and preparation. They'll do their best as they always do and let's hope we can pull of another cup upset. " Captain Kai Gill states the team have trained really well and have been preparing for round 2 straight away after the win in round 1 over Manchester United. Kai said:

“ As a team, we have trained really well in preparation for round 2 against Sale. The focus has been there since the win over Man Utd. We spoke as a team with our coaching staff and club that we wanted to continue our hard work, by training hard even before and shortly after the Christmas period despite who we faced. We look forward to playing against Sale, who are a Premiership team, it’s been a while since we played them but in previous matches it has always been a very good game for anyone to watch. Saturday, is our chance to continue our cup journey and as a team play the best football. This will be a great game for supporters to watch.”
