Hull & East Yorkshire PFC first team are in action this coming Sunday as the club hosts the North East Powerchair Football Regional League Championship.
The team face Middlesbrough Reserves and Middlesbrough third team at Allam Sports Centre, University of Hull.
Electric Eels will face Middlesbrough PFC Reserves at 10:30am. Later in the day they face Middlesbrough PFC third team at 12:30pm.
First team captain, Kai Gill spoke to the club website stating having two back to back matches will help the team focus and continue with their progress. He said: "It's always good to have a couple of matches two following a close defeat. It helps clear our minds and focus on the leagues, plus our journey we're on as a team this season. We've looked back and highlighted areas that we need to improve on but, there has been clear progress. We have two tough matches against good sides who have talented young players. If we focus, on our game plan and what we've been practicing in training we should do well. "
He then spoke about the crowd that cheered on the side last week. He said: Last Saturday, we hosted the first round of the John Good Group WFA Cup and we had a brilliant crowd I couldn't believe how many where there. Thank you so much to everyone who came and supported us it definitely, lifts the players spirits. We hope we have another good crowd cheering us on.
Come along and cheer on our first team at the Allam Sports Centre, University of Hull.
