Hull & East Yorkshire PFC first team gain three points following a win against Middlesbrough PFC Reserves.
Our first team kicked off game week 4 of North East Powerchair Football League Championship against Middlesbrough PFC Reserves at The Allam Sports Centre.
Head Coach Lee Brennan, named Aston Wallis, Joel Rothery, Kai Gill and Luke Brennan in the starting line up. With Callum Jefferson, Emma Hodson, and Harrison Smith as substitutes.
A firing match, with both teams leading middle players battling both sides showing their attacking and defensive skills. The team were rotated throughout the match so all players had minutes in order to be ready for the next national league game week. Attacking press from Electric Eels saw Luke Brennan intercept a goal kick scoring a goal to seal the three points.

Next up, for our first team was up against Leeds PFC Centurions in a friendly. The first half saw Leeds dominate predominately as Electric Eels were getting used to a new formation. Last remaining five minutes of the first half, saw Lee rotate the players bringing Kai onto the pitch for Emma.
Half-time saw Lee Brennan address his players an area to capitalise, players motivated each other to grow into confidence. The second half saw Electric Eels be more settled and grow into the game. Captain Kai dribbled with the ball up the court locking in a battle with Leeds middle player. This created an opportunity from Kai passing the ball to Joel, who passed back for Kai to fire the ball across box for Callum to finish but, hit the post.
There were a few contact knocks from both sides one which saw, a penalty given to Electric Eels. Joel calm, cool, collective, drove up, spotted his target and hit the ball making it, clawing back the scoreline to 2 - 1.

The first team are next in action on Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th February for Optegra Championship game week 3 at Lee Westwood Sports Centre, Nottingham Trent University.
