Optegra Championship Gameweek 2 Review

Hull & East Yorkshire PFC first team travelled to Nottingham this weekend for Gameweek 2 of the 2024/25 Optegra Championship. Across, the weekend Electric Eels had five matches.



On Saturday, first up for Electric Eels was against Sale United PFC a close match that resulted in a 1 - 0 win for Sale. Next up, was Muscle Warriors which, was a end to end match, the warriors won 1-0. Final match on Saturday was against GBG Knights which, resulted in a 4-0 win for the Knights.



Sunday, the Electric Eels faced AFC Bournemouth a close match, with Aston scoring a goal. Despite, this AFC Bournemouth continued to battle scoring two goals resulting in a 2-1 win for the southern side. Electric Eels final match for Gameweek 2 was against Manchester City PFC a close match once again, with Eels putting in a good performance cr. it, was unable to come away with a win. Manchester City won 1 - 0.



Despite, the results which, don’t reflect the team performances Electric Eels are determined on improving. Currently, positioned in 11th in the league table there is still plenty of matches to be played, the team are determined to comeback after the winter break to climb the table.
